If your employer uses a 3rd-party HRIS, payroll, or attendance system, StaffBanana may receive synchronized employee data such as:

2. How We Collect Information
2.1 Personal & Employment Information:
Collected when:
Your employer adds you to the Employee module
You register and log in using company credentials
Data is synchronized from your employer’s connected systems
Note: Aggregated biometric data used for analysis cannot identify any individual employee.
3.7 TrueDepth API (Future Feature):
Used solely for real-time avatar rendering during video interactions—never stored or shared.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your data. Your information may be shared only with:

Timekeeping records
Location logs
Payroll data
Attendance analytics
4.2 Service Providers:
Strictly necessary providers (e.g., cloud hosting, security services). They are contractually required to maintain confidentiality.
4.3 Legal Compliance:

4.4 No Third-Party Sharing of Biometrics:
Facial data will never be shared externally.

Data is stored securely in Trackerteer-managed servers
Encryption is used for data in transit and at rest
Access controls ensure only authorized personnel may view data
Biometric data is strictly isolated and protected
6. Data Retention
6.1 Facial Data:
Retained for 1 month after the employee’s last time-entry. Permanently deleted after the retention period.
6.2 Personal & Employment Data:
Retained while the employer maintains an active account. Deleted or anonymized upon account termination unless legally required.
6.3 Payroll & Timekeeping Data:
Retained following employer’s retention policy. May be required for compliance with labor and tax laws.
6.4 TrueDepth API Data:
Not stored. Used in real-time only.
